Inspired by personal experiences in public spaces, this piece aims to invoke memories of unexpected or unwanted physical touch. And whether positive  or negative, leaves a laying imprint on our consciousness. To create this, I filled long gloves with various materials and installed them within a narrow space, a familiar environment for the regular passerby, now transformed by these “external bodies”. The focus shifts from routine passage to now potential interaction with the unexpected. Each passerby unique reaction shapes the experience. Whether someone chooses to touch, be touched or avoid it altogether, their decision becomes part of the artwork. The touch may also be fleeting or could potentially trigger past memories of a similar touch.
